Rob:

Thanks!! The relocation has definitely been put off. My main reason for a move there was due to private sector growth and abundance over the DC area. Maybe down the road, but for now, DC is looking to be my home for a while.

A landed the job due to my skills:

You know, like numchuck skills, bow hunting skills, computer hacking skills... [Companies] only want [employees] who have great skills.

Seriously though, Thomas told me about the posting on Craigslist, introduced me to Tim and the rest is history. I basically went in and interviewed, said they were impressed and I was made an offer a couple of weeks later.

I'll keep you informed. Just keep your eyes here.

Jared:

Thanks as well!! Thanks for the compliments!! Are you still moving in the direction of IA and ID?

My gawd dude! What are you thinking?!
*giggle*

Seriously thought, congrats! I know you've been wanting to challenge yourself, and from the sound of it you will definitely be doing just that. PM in the title means great things - both expected and rewarded. I know you're good with both, so that's just bloody awesome! I'm super happy for you!

Good luck to ya mate!

Congrats, Jason! I guess the relocation to Chicago is out of the picture for the immediate future...for now?

How were you able to land the job? I had seen the opening posted, but I just cannot swing Reston unless I moved the family...

You'll have to keep me posted on how the position goes - IA and PM is exactly what I am interested in...
