A close friend of mine, Kyle, sent me this link this morning. We are friends with the guys at the bottom of the list, hate the guys 4th down the list, forbid intelligence gathering against the guys second in the list and attacked the guys in the middle of the list. Do you see a problem with all of this, I mean, geopolitically of course? With all of that said, should we attack the guys at the top of the list?
I’m sure most of you have heard about the verbal and indirect attack to Senator Obama’s campaign by our current President. Most of you know my stance on the current President, but in the recent months he has truly fallen off of my radar. My goal was to focus on the upcoming election and the change that might come from a new administration. I’ve always said, it doesn’t matter what side you sit on, the next administration has to be better then our current one. Of course, G.W. had to go and make the following statement to toss up the campaign a bit:
“Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along,” he said, without referring to Obama by name. “We have heard this foolish delusion before.”
It is still really shocking how divided our nation is to this day. Dare I say it, the last time we were this divided, we were fighting brother vs. brother in a battle over states rights and slavery.
Yeah, it’s been quiet for a while. Actually, it’s been too quiet. I’m currently in the middle of redesigning my site and decided to add a feature I got working on my development box. It actually only took about 10 minutes to get this up and running, so I figured I would go ahead and lock it in for data aggregation purposes. It’s in my sidebar, but may migrate as I do more updates and additions. I figure if I do one of these a day and rebuild one page a day, it will only take me a few weeks to get all of my changes. With that said, here’s to more free time and a finished site.
So, I was perusing CNN today, getting my daily news fix, and I stumble across this article about the off year elections. I get about a third of the way down the page and read the following quote:
“The thing I like about this fellow is he grew up on a farm”
This will amuse for hours…well, maybe not hours, but a really long time. If he gets stuck, just click and drag with your mouse. You can throw him around like a rag doll. Many thanks to Sean Coon.
