About
You have reached the personal and professional realm of Jason Wishard. I’m not to be confused with the Jason Wishard who is in the band Vechirka, but I am the Jason Wishard that attended Smithsburg High School and crew up, in and around the Hagerstown, MD area. I currently reside in the northern Virginia area and work for a small web design agency as an Experience Architect.
I have maintained this site since June 6th, 2004, writing about the web, design, photography, the news and anything else that may come into my brain. I invite everyone to check back frequently as content is under constant change.
As an Experience Architect, I have done work for many companies and organizations such as Sallie Mae, PowerStreak Networks, Virtual MSP, Worldwide Technical Resources, Next Level Communications, PDS of Washington, DC, FHWA, US Customs and the NNSA, just to name a few. I have had some of my work showcased in the past few years, most noteably of which was a flyer for Antietam National Battlefield and an environmental site for the FHWA that won Adobe Site of the Day for September 5th, 2003.
Outside of my professional life, I have many hobbies which include riding my sport bike when the weather is nice, keeping up to date on current and future information technologies, photography and just enjoying life for all that it has to offer.
